    Artist Access Days


    Here's an excellent opportunity for artists and photographers to access to the Calvert County parks before regular park hours. Artists are encouraged to create landscape paintings, drawings and photographs as they experience the quiet of an early spring sunrise at Flag Ponds Nature Park in Lusby, MD. 

    Sunday, March 16, 6:45 am-9:00 am 
    This event will be followed by a short art lesson from local artist Pam Callen. Registration is required. Click here to register. Artist Registration Fee: None 

    Saturday, April 12, 6:00 am-9:00 am Registration is required. Click here to register. Artist Registration Fee: None

    Don't miss registering for Richard Eskin's Wed. evening Digital Photography Course in Towson as well as Michael Bare's Tue. evening Studio Painting Course that start the 1st week in February. During the last annual meeting some members were very interested in expanding their understanding of digital photography.  Richard Eskin is not only an expert, but he has worked along side plein air and studio painters as a winner of several artist residencies at our National Parks.  These classes are in Towson Arts Collective's new 3600 sf EBC Arts Center in the 40 W. Chesapeake Ave. Bldg.
    TAC & Towson University Community Art Center are partners in these workshops:

    Space is still available in Carolyn Counsell's on Mon. 10am-1pm Watercolor and Mixed Media course, TAC's Sat. 10am-12:30 Costumed Model Sessions, featuring demonstrations by artists such as Joanna Barnum, BWS signature member, and optional lunch time critique session.
