Paint Smith Island with a pop up show on the deck of the Smith Island History Museum. 20% commission benefits the Smith Island History Museum. Ferry arrives back in Crisfield around 5:00pm.

May 25 - Saturday:

7am-3pm: Paint in Crisfield.

3-3:30pm Start bringing in your work for sale at the Custom House. You can display as many pieces has you want. Framed or unframed. This is up to you. The limitation is you need to supply your own easels to display work. I’m using a couple of cheap Walmart easels. Leave your paintings overnight for an other opportunity to sell during the Soft Shell Crab Festival on Sunday!

4-7pm Bay Breeze Art Walk begins.  This is where you will be selling your work. The Art Center is only taking a 20% commission. I will be able to take credit cards on the spot. Proceeds benefit the A&E District in Crisfield.

4-7pm Dinner during Art Walk. There will be a BBQ beef or hamburger platter dinner, right next to Custom House. You can get dinner at your leisure while you sell. Each artist will get a ticket which covers dinner and a drink. Our very own Billie Chandler is known for her BBQ beef sandwich!

7-9pm: Dessert at Debra Howard’s home @ 33 West Main Street. Just a couple blocks up the road. Featuring Smith Island Cake and coffee or tea. Plenty of parking behind the church next door. (Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church) Park and walk through to my house. Drop in to relax and chat about your art and event experience. Included with your entry fee.

May 26 - Sunday:

The Soft Shell Crab Festival (which is wonderful) is on Sunday 12-4, at City dock in Crisfield across the street from the Customs House. Art Show and wet paint sale continue at Customs House or artist can paint the festival. An excellent time to get a soft shell crab sandwich!
