Paint Historic Galesville And Environs

Experience and paint the quaint village of Galesville on West River with its scenic shorelines, water, wildlife and boatyards.  Also, explore the rolling hills and farmland of the surrounding area.

This is an opportunity to paint and exhibit your plein air work at the River Gallery in Galesville.

Show dates: April 20 to May 20;                   a $30.00 registration fee is required.

Paintings must be submitted by 5:00 on April 15th.  Please note that finished ones, ready for hanging may be left at the gallery anytime on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 11:00 to 5:00).   Plein air work can be completed anytime from March 1 to April 15, but don’t miss the opportunity to paint with others in town on April 8th, 9th and 10th.

Please come by to meet the artists/owners Roxanne Weidele, Laura Dixon and Elsie Whitman.  They can provide you with interesting local places to paint that might have escaped your attention and can tell you where bathrooms are available.

A reception will be held Saturday, April 21 between 3:00 and 5:00.
