MAPAPA members may submit two paintings for possible inclusion, up to 9” x 12” (not including frame). Works must have been created en plein air, any date, location, media. Works must be suitably framed and wired for hanging, and must be for sale. Works will be insured by the gallery while in their possession.
$20 submission fee for 1 or 2 paintings, payable to MAPAPA online through the event listing. Sales will be 60% artist/40% Artists' Emporium gallery.
Works for the exhibition will be selected by juror TBD as well as awards for 1st($100), 2nd($50), 3rd($25). The presentation of awards will be announced at the reception.
Once you have paid your fee through the event listing, please send image files via e-mail attachment to exhibit coordinator Lissa Abrams at email@example.com 72 dpi, 1200 pixels on the longest side, name files in format of LastnameFirstname_TitleofWork.jpg. In your e-mail, please include your name, phone number, mailing address, website (if you have one), and for each work title, medium, size, and price. Works must be for sale.

Artists' Emporium will provide refreshments and a cash bar. Members may bring additional baked goods or prepackaged foods if they wish. Members may not bring additional alcohol or other food items due to Havre de Grace liquor and health code regulations.
Havre de Grace “First Friday” event
Paint Out Friday, June 7, 3- 7, Paint Sale 7 -9pm
MAPAPA members are invited to paint out in Havre de Grace during the day or evening, and either display an additional wet paint work on their own easel outdoors in front of the gallery during the “First Friday” street festivities and/or live paint during the event. Display and sales of additional wet paintings are during First Friday only, paintings/easels will be removed at the end of the evening. At 3pm, the streets around the gallery close to traffic. If artists need to drop off gear in front of gallery after 3pm, they may tell police at barricade they are a vendor at Artists' Emporium, and will be able to drop off, but must find parking outside closed area. First Friday officially opens at 5 with crowds peaking 6:30-9. Artists may paint during the day and display during FF hours, or they may choose to live paint in front of the gallery or nearby during FF hours. The gallery will provide water for artists.Any sales from exhibition or wet paint display on First Friday will be processed by AE at 60% artist/40% AE.
