Solomons Plein Air Festival: “Paint the Town for a Cause”  

Registration fee: None – it’s free!

Location: The Riverwalk in Solomons, Maryland

Date: Saturday, September 23rd

Painting begins: 9:00 am

Judging begins: 1:00 pm

Who can paint: Artists of all ages, all experience & skill levels – everyone is welcome!

What to bring: Art supplies & sunscreen

Each participating artist must register. An artist may register online on the “Paint the Town” page of their website (http:www.solomonspleinair.com/cause) ahead of time. Or they may fill out a Registration Form at the registration table on the day of the event.

Cash prizes, gift cards, and art materials will be awarded to registered artists of all ages during the judging at 1 pm. The awards will be presented by Yumi Hogan, Maryland’s First Lady.

Artists will have the opportunity to sell their artwork throughout the morning and after judging. Sales will be handled by designated Festival volunteers. Artists receive 60% of the sale proceeds, and 40% of the proceeds support these local, Southern Maryland charities:
