MAPAPA Afternoon Paint Out in Washington, DC's Chinatown

Description: Meet up at the Friendship Archway in Chinatown, H St & 7th St NW (in front of the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro entrance) at 4:30pm. Paint anywhere in the vicinity.
The Smithsonian American Museum of Art and National Portrait Gallery is located one block south on G St, between 7th St and 8th St and is open until 7pm. Restrooms are conveniently located inside. A barrier free entrance is located on the 8 St & G St entrance. Restrooms are available for paying customers at Starbucks on the corner of H St & 7th St.
Street parking is limited, especially during rush hour. Plan to park in one of the garage or lots. An open parking lot is conveniently located on H St. between 6th St. NW and 7th St. NW with evening rates.
If there is interest, artists can choose to eat at one of the restaurants after completing a late afternoon painting and/or stay to paint a nocturne.http://americanart.si.edu/visit/hours/
