MAPAPA National Mall Evening Paint Out

Sunday, September 3rd

4:00 pm - 8:00pm

Host: Alison Menke

Free to members, $5 non-members

Meet at 4:00pm at Smithsonian Institution Building - National Mall Entrance. From there explore and paint. If you're interested in participating for a critique we will gather at 7pm at our meeting point. Being that it will be Labor Day weekend, please plan to arrive early as activity on the mall will be high. The National Symphony Orchestra will be performing a free Labor Day Concert on the West Lawn of the US Capitol. The show starts at 8pm but gates open at 3pm with an open rehearsal at 3:30pm. It will be a fun and patriotic time to paint as you can choose to be close to the concert or near the Washington Monument looking down the mall.
