MAPAPA Paint Out at Historical Oakdale Farm, Pennsylvania -cancelled!!

This event has been cancelled due to rain. 

The Trammell's have invited MAPAPA to paint at their historic Oakdale farm in Wyeth country. 

May is the perfect time to paint on their 50 acre property - 6,000 daffodils will come up.  

Features include an all stone barn (1750), multiple all stone outbuildings (spring house, butcher shop), large pond, parterre garden, main stone house (1710,1840) on 50 bucolic acres. The driveway is 1/4 mile long.

They are on the National historic register for being on the Underground Railway (freeing 3,000 slaves). 

More information will follow registration. 

MAPAPA Paint Out at Historical Oakdale Farm, Pennsylvania

When:  Saturday, May 6, 2017 (rain date Saturday, May 13)  9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Where: 508 Hillendale Road, Chadds Ford, PA  19317  (park only in designated parking area).

There is currently a wait list for this event. Please respond to this email to confirm whether you are able to attend.

Paint in the morning. Bring a bag lunch. We will plan to meet up at 1:00 for lunch and/or informal critique.

In addition, Libby Trammell has expressed an interest in the opportunity to purchase paintings done on her property.

Coming from Wilmington :

Take 52 north.

Right at last light before Rt1.

Travel though first "block".

Pass elementary school.

Oakdale Farm is  in 2nd "block".

4th drive on right, including new house driveway.

They have two black mailboxes and stone entrance.

The driveway is 1/4 mile.

Please parallel park on left just after you descend from Allee of trees before barn. It is important that we park in this designated area only.
