Paint Centreville Maryland and the Art of the Deals
Sponsored by the Queen Anne’s County Arts Commission
Saturday, June 19, 2010,   Meet at the Courthouse Square, Centreville
This event is a combination of art show, farmer’s market and sell what-have-you. It is usually very well attended.   MAPAPA artist may wish to bring some good quality finished work to display and sell.   It is anticipated that there will be a MAPAPA booth, staffed by some volunteers where the artist can set up and display work for sale.  (Please bring your own easel or tripod or display equipment).  As the booth will be staffed, the artist can display the art work and go and choose a location, then knock out some great paintings.  If you want to rent your own booth space exclusively for your work and you have your own booth and display equipment, you can rent booth space from the Queen Anne’s Art Council at a cost of $10.  The Art’s Council does not charge a commission but a donation would be appreciated.
The event runs from 9 am to 1 pm, so artists should be setting up at 8:30. (same time as vendors).  The Arts Council will extend the hours so that the artists’ critique and ‘wet paint’ sales can take place from 1 pm to 2 pm.  Take down and close up should be by 2:30 as most people take advantage of the early part of the day and then go off to other destinations.

Please remember to bring easel or tripod to display your work. Will a family member or friend volunteer to staff the MAPAPA booth during the event ?Would you like to rent booth space just for your work ?
(Cost is $10.00) DAve Terrar is host and contact david_terrar@msn.com .
